About Us

Welcome to The Anshika

The Anshika (theanshika.in) is a digital marketing education blog and consulting platform founded with one clear purpose: to help Indian small businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals understand and apply digital marketing strategies that actually work in the Indian market. We are based in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, and our content is written specifically for Indian audiences — covering the tools, platforms, budgets, consumer behaviours, and cultural nuances that make marketing in India unique.

Whether you run a local saree shop in Vijayawada, a coaching centre in Nellore, a digital services startup in Hyderabad, or a home-based food business in Rajahmundry — this website was built for you. We write for business owners who want practical, actionable advice they can implement without a large budget, an in-house marketing team, or a computer science degree.

Who Is Behind The Anshika?

My name is Anshika, and I am the founder, primary author, and digital marketing consultant behind this platform. I started The Anshika in 2021 after several years of working with Indian businesses on their online presence and realising how few digital marketing resources were genuinely tailored to the Indian context. Most blogs and YouTube channels covering digital marketing are written for Western audiences — using tools that cost thousands of dollars, referencing consumer behaviours that do not apply in India, and suggesting budget levels that are completely unrealistic for small Indian businesses.

I grew up in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, and watched local business owners — talented, hardworking people — struggle to get customers online, not because their products or services were inferior, but simply because they did not have access to the right marketing knowledge. That experience became the foundation for everything I write and do at The Anshika.

Over the past 4+ years, I have worked directly with 50+ businesses across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and other Indian states, helping them with SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, Google Business Profile optimisation, WhatsApp marketing, and website growth strategies. Every article on this blog is informed by that hands-on experience — not just theory I read in a textbook.

My Qualifications and Experience

I have 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience in digital marketing, working primarily with Indian small businesses and content websites. My areas of expertise include search engine optimisation (both on-page and off-page), Google Ads campaign creation and management, local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation, social media strategy for Indian platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp), content marketing and SEO writing, email marketing setup and automation, and website analytics using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.

I have helped businesses across multiple categories achieve measurable results — from a mobile repair shop in Nellore that grew its walk-in customers by 323% in 4 months through local SEO, to a saree business in Kakinada that built a 11,000+ Instagram following through consistent Reels content, to a digital marketing coaching business that doubled its course enrolments through a targeted email marketing strategy. These real results, achieved for real Indian businesses, are what I write about on this blog.

I stay current with the latest developments in digital marketing by continuously testing new strategies, monitoring algorithm updates from Google and Meta, participating in Indian and international digital marketing communities, and investing in ongoing professional development. What I learn through this continuous education goes directly into the content I create for you.

Our Editorial Commitment

Every article on theanshika.in is written, researched, and edited by me personally. I do not outsource content creation, use AI-generated articles without careful review and personalisation, or publish generic content that could apply to any business in any country. When I write an article about local SEO for small shops in India, it is based on actual experience helping real Indian shops — not a rewritten summary of a Western marketing textbook.

I am committed to honesty in everything I publish. If a strategy has worked well for Indian businesses in my experience, I will say so clearly and explain why. If a strategy comes with limitations, risks, or requires significant ongoing investment, I will tell you that too. I believe Indian business owners deserve straightforward, honest marketing advice — not inflated claims designed to sell them a course or software subscription.

We disclose all affiliate relationships clearly in our content. We do not accept payment from software companies, tools, or services in exchange for positive coverage or biased reviews. Our recommendations are based entirely on genuine merit and relevance to our audience.
